Still No ET Disclosure!

I was listening to some very old Coast to Coast AM shows last night, from May of 2001. Richard Hoagland was a very frequent guest at that time (he has since been banned, but that’s an entirely different story). In this particular broadcast, Richard claimed that his statement in 2000 that 2001 would be “the year of disclosure” was completely accurate and he’d bet the farm on it.

In this context, “disclosure” means that the US government would officially admit that everything Richard has said about ancient civilizations existing throughout the solar system is true.

He said the same thing about 2010, 2011, and 2012. He said in 2013 that 2012 was the year of disclosure. He’s repeated since then that each year would be the year of disclosure.

He appeared on Howard Hughes’ “The Unexplained” a few weeks ago and claimed that President Obama, on January 1, 2017, in the afternoon, would reveal ET life had been found because it was 19.5 days from when he would no longer be in office (thanks for the tip from @JenniferRaff). (See here and here for why 19.5 is important to Richard.)

It’s January 2, in the afternoon as I write this. Still nothing.

The question is, how long are people going to continue to buy into those who continuously make false, charlatan-like statements? I, unfortunately, have a very dim outlook on the answer to that rhetorical question.

  2. I think at least part of it can be blamed on short attention spans amongst fringe believers, you keep seeing the same claims made over and over again. I’ve even seen UFO believers like Kevin Randle complain about seeing cases he has investigated and proven to his satisfaction to be hoaxes (The Aurora UFO Crash in the 1890s) recycled by younger generations of UFO believers.

    • I think people have short attention spans in general.

      • Just saw the episode of your interview on MonsterTalk is available. Looking forward to listening to it. Sadly you may have to end up doing another Planet X episode thanks to the tabloid press suddenly reviving Nibiru with an impact date of October 2017.

  3. I just read Sharon Hill’s latest on Doubtful News, on how (and when) Bigfoot became an ET. I guess that explains why indigenous North Americans never knew about Bigfoot; The aliens didn’t arrive until 1947 or so,

  4. Hoagland was banned from CtC?
    What caused that?

It is good to know that as low as CtC’s standards are, at least they have some.

  5. Ah, Canadian Politician Paul Hellyer might be somewhat aged and obscure, but a Rooskie bigwig…

A few statements from Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev are included in an MFA (Minister of Foreign Affairs) report.

    Medvedev says,

    “The time has come.”

So, what does Medvedev speak of? Medvedev believes that aliens are already here among us. In his statement, he says that the time has come to tell the world about aliens, and if the U.S. doesn’t do so, the Kremlin will do the honors.

    • @George
Sounds cool, do you have the actual statement?
I look forward to whatever the time has come for.

  6. I think we would all agree that Ufology in general has not helped its cause a lot…That coupled with all the fake videos and news stories that are floating around the web right now….Disclosure as far as the US is concerned I don’t think it will ever happen….
