Podcast Episode 96: The Star of Bethlehem: A Skeptical View with Aaron Adair

When Jesus was born
The Star of Bethlehem told
The way. Maybe not?

For the first episode of several interviews, and the last episode of 2013 (Julian calendar), I give you an interview with Aaron Adair who is a recent physics Ph.D. awardee from THE Ohio State University. If you’re wondering “What on Earth could POSSIBLY be new about this?” you’re not alone — it’s the first question I asked him. The interview runs about 45-50 minutes and there are no other segments.

And Australia is fun! Nothing has killed me yet … so far …

  1. Glad you’re enjoying Australia, remember to watch out for Drop Bears and anyone offering you a drink of the Yarra River…

    • I’ve heard about those drop bears … I’m keeping my eyes out and up watching for those vicious creatures ;-).

      • You might also want to watch out if you visit any newsagents, the latest issue of Nexus Magazine (Australias oldest conspiracy magazine, described by the Fortean Times as “All this (Incomprehenisble New Age waffle about dimensions.) and Gun Nuts too…”) has an article on “Norse Mythology and the Annunaki”.

Listened to the episode. Very good, will let the comments about Monty Python slide for the moment.

      • Thanks, I’ll take a look. And I’m hoping that most people ignore the Monty Python comment, given my understanding of most peoples’ opinion of them.
