Yes, it’s an older case by over a decade, and very, very few people still take Nancy and her ZetaTalk site seriously.
But, I think it’s important for the sake of “complete” coverage of the Planet X phenomenon, of which she has been a major part. I also think that it’s informative of what’s going on today with doomsday ideas related to Planet X and 2012: The same crap that she spouted back then for the pole shift she said would happen in 2003, people are still using today for 2012.

Exposing PseudoAstronomy 
I’ve just finished listening to this and I can remember following this on the BadAstronomy forum, I find it sad that people are still falling for this nonsense. It was interesting to see just how Nancy seemed to change the target of the ‘white lie’ with each post 2003 appearance, at the time I thought she was crazy, but now I am wondering.

I truly do not believe that the world will end in 2012 based on what Don Yeomans, manager of NASA’s Near-Earth Object program announced awhile back. He stated that there is no planetary alignment on December 21, 2012 and that even if there were a planetary alignment then, it would not cause problems. There are worse things that could devastate the earth and Dec 21 2012 is not one of them. For the problems that would affect us – we will hear about them in the news as we have in the past and know that Nasa is looking out for them. I base my knowledge on scientific fact and not rumors. I do not hear NASA spinning tales of fear and doom so I know that this is just a Hollywood hype.
